Creating a layered cliff entirely in Substance Designer was a new challenge for me, especially as it was my first time working on a natural rock material. I deliberately chose to step out of my comfort zone to maximize my learning experience. The main focus of this project was refining the height and albedo maps, utilizing various direction warps and masks to achieve a realistic outcome inspired by reference images. The final render was done in Marmoset.
